Reading One-to-One (R1-1) is a reading tutoring program in which
trained college students use a research-based curriculum to tutor elementary school students. UCI students provide R1-1 tutoring services to first and second grade students at a local elementary school in the Santa Ana Unified School District. Students have been identified by their teachers as most in need of reading assistance.
